Mysterious deaths and disappearances are happening all across the country, with no solid explanation for anything at all. Some say it could have been the work of a devil; well, they’re not wrong. Lurking in the shadows of night, the culprits of these disappearances are none other than demons. A secret society, known as the Demon Slayer Corps, was formed in order to protect humans from said demons, and have been waging a secret war against them for centuries.
Demons are former humans who sold their humanity in exchange for power. They feed on humans and possess supernatural abilities. Demons can only be weakened under certain conditions, making them difficult to kill. The Demon Slayers, on the other hand, are entirely human. However, they employ special breathing techniques, known as breaths, which grant them superhuman strength and increased resistance to battle the demons.

No art requirements are needed for this, you can go from full blown rendered art to rough sketch. Anything goes! Your OC's weapon can be drawn if you'd like, but you can also choose to completely omit it. Click on the template to get the PSD and PNG version!

Young children have been disappearing every fortnight! Proceed to Shinonome Village
immediately and investigate! Kaw!!”

Shinonome Village, known by neighbouring villages to be incredibly devoted to the Shinto religion, is located in an enclosed area deep in the forest. The villagers were never outwardly friendly, nor were they overly hostile. They mostly stayed within their own community and were known to pray to Amaterasu, the village’s guardian deity. In recent months, it has been rumoured that the village is being protected by a guardian spirit, sent down from heaven by Amaterasu herself. Ever since then, the village who had never once closed their doors to travellers seeking food or shelter, have completely shut themselves out from the outside world. However, recently there have been anonymous reports of missing children in the village. As such, the Demon Slayer Corps have decided to dispatch their members to the scene and investigate.
